Testing
Every parent wants to make sure they are doing the best thing for their child. We want to reassure you, and keep you informed on how your child is doing. Below are some tests that we will do to make sure your child is on track! If you would like to do state testing (RISE), you will need to talk to USD if you received financial aid from Utah, or if you received no financial aid at all. If you are working with "OpenEd" or "Harmony Ed", you will need to talk to those agencies. I will do what I can to help you figure out state testing if you'd like to do that.
Reading Placement
The Good and The Beautiful (TGTB) has a placement test that your child will take at the beginning of the year. This will help us to know if the "on grade level" will be enough, or if they need some extra support in a reading group.
Math Placement Test

Reading Quizzes
TGTB also has comprehension tests built into their program. You will be seeing these come home as your child finishes them.
Math Quizzes
TGTB also has math quizzes after each unit that your child will take to make sure they are mastering concepts.
